The premise
One iced latte, judged honestly.
Every café gets the same order: an iced matcha latte, no vanilla to hide behind. Each one gets a Neila Drinks Matcha (NDM) Score from 0.0 to 5.0 — the cups where the matcha actually holds its own against the ice and milk.
- 4.5–5.0Vibrant, well-whisked matcha with real balance — you can taste it through every sip, straw to the last cube.
- 3.5–4.4A solid everyday order. Good ratio, good oat milk, nothing to complain about.
- 2.5–3.4Drinkable, but unbalanced — too sweet, too thin, or too icy to fully land.
- 0.0–2.4Mostly milk and syrup wearing a matcha costume. Noted, not reordered.
